First off, in the great northwest, they don't start until pretty late, so I start with a large iced coffee to make sure I can stay am up, but I'm an early riser. Working Radio (portables are nice for back of pickups), lots of blankets or sleeping bags, pillows, Flashlight, drinks/refreshments, popcorn, candy, cash for addmission and concessions, lawn chairs for backs of pickups. We drive a Ford Excursion and back in to watch the movie through the opened back. These cheap fords do not have a switch to shut off the interior lights if the door is opened though, so you need to remove a fuse to shut them off. Know which fuse to remove. To compound problems, the thing won't start with the fuse removed, so bring a flashlight to insert the fuse and start the truck in the wee hours of the morning. Have fun.

Take a blanket, Therma-rest pad, or bleacher-chair to put on bleachers. You're going to be sitting there a while and they're hard. Folding chair, just in case there's room. Fruit, Nuts, trail mix, sandwiches, chips, juice or pop, camera, and maybe binoculars. Book and magazine. Pen, especially if you're a timer.
